My favourite colour is black. So naturally, I wanted to use black for my wedding. Yeah. I know. Stop acting all shocked and disgusted! Everyone wants to use their favourite colours on their wedding day. So why can’t I use mine as well?
When it comes to wedding colours, research shows that the most abused and widely used colours are:
White (Of Course)
Oftentimes, these colours are limited to two-colour combinations, or at most, three. For example, Gold and Royal Blue, Gold and white, Royal blue and white, Red and White, Red and Gold, etc.
One interesting thing about colours is that when it comes to weddings, ladies, especially, just magically find new names for already existing colours. I mean colours we knew of in Basic school. Red, Yellow, Black, White, Blue, Green, etc.
All of a sudden, these colours become peach, lavender, rose, cinnamon, turquoise, etc.
As a popular actor in Ghana would say “I don’t think far!”
Well, if they can, why can’t I? Lemme also flaunt my ability to change ordinary colours into unrecognizable brands.
So if you are the type who likes to catch attention and leave an unforgettable impression in people’s minds, then you may want to forget the above-mentioned colours and try some nicer, not-so-common colours and combinations:
Orange, Classic Yellow, Gold, Burgundy
Classic Blue, Tangerine, Sugar, Champagne
Classic Yellow, Slate, Celery, Cream Rose
